Artists Wanted in Arkansas Stamp Competition
November 22, 2024 •Connor Merritt
A digital wave of outdoor recreational tools, all combined in a single app, will begin to revolutionize the way Americans access and enjoy the outdoors this summer. iSportsman, the nation’s leading provider of outdoor recreational management software, recently formalized a partnership with HAMS.online (Hunting Area Management System), Europe’s top provider of conservation and hunting management digital solutions.
As part of the partnership, the two companies will jointly introduce a new app-driven service to the North American market that will make it easier and more affordable than ever for everyone from large corporate landowners to outfitters and hunt clubs to digitally manage access and opportunities on their hunting and recreational areas.
This is a major step in facilitating the modernization of outdoor recreation. The new collaborative service will be marketed as iSportsman ARX.
It will be available as a web-based service supported by a smartphone app that allows landowners, outfitters and hunt club managers to optimize management and recordkeeping of the activities and harvest on their properties including planting of food plots; management of forests; frequency of use for stands, blinds and areas; success of hunters and anglers; promotion of outdoor opportunities and recording of hunt data, both collective and individual, to help hunters and land managers increase success in both harvest and management goals.
“iSportsman has become the software-as-a-service standard for managing large-scale governmental hunting and fishing programs, but this partnership provides us with an entirely new set of tools for the hunter and land manager. We can now offer services to scale from single and multiple properties with tens of thousands of users down to just a handful and all for about the price of a cup of coffee per user each month,” said Doug Howlett, COO of iSportsman, LLC.
The partnership was initiated seamlessly, with both companies having a formidable presence in the field of outdoor recreation. iSportsman is currently the enterprise-level rec management service provider for the U.S. Army’s and U.S. Air Force’s natural resource-based recreation and firewood cutting programs.
The service is used on more than 50 bases across the country, including the U.S. Marine Corps’ installations of Quantico and Camp Pendleton, several Army National Guard bases, two National Wildlife Refuges and multiple public-access lands managed by the Kansas Dept. of Parks, Wildlife & Tourism.
HAMS.online is the leading hunting and conservation digital service provider in Europe being used to manage hunting and conservation on more than 500,000 acres in Hungary, including the two largest hunting grounds. The company also recently contracted with the largest forestry organization in Ireland to provide an online portal to the thousands of sportsmen utilizing their lands for hunting on 1.2 million acres of land.
Additionally, the company provides services to key estates in Scotland through its work with the Scottish Land and Estates and is also used to manage lands and hunting in England, Germany, Austria, Romania, Belarus, Namibia, Uruguay, Denmark, the United States and others.
“It is now more critical than ever to protect natural lands and conserve wildlife for future generations,” said Imre Mádi, founder of HAMS.online. “Hunting technology is not just about entertainment but is a vital tool to help us better understand the lands under our stewardship.
This collaboration with iSportsman will allow us to reach a broader audience interested in improving not just their hunting success, but how they manage their lands and wildlife resources. A well-managed land is more profitable both for nature and financially and this requires the best practices and tools available. This is what HAMS.online is.” Imre is considered a Sustainable Wildlife Management Conservation Futurist by those who know him.
iSportsman will introduce the NEW iSportsman ARX service powered by HAMS.online connecting the U.S. community of hunters and wildlife professionals with the ever-growing international community of HAMS by June 1, 2021.
