Winchester Ammunition is celebrating America’s birthday with the release of its USA 250th Anniversary Commemorative Ammunition Series, a limited run of five themed packages marking the upcoming semiquincentennial of the United States.
The company said production will be limited to 15,000 total units across the series. Each package contains a standard Winchester ammunition product paired with commemorative packaging tied to a specific theme.
The five offerings include:
Pioneering America, which features .30-30 Winchester 170-grain Power-Point ammunition.
American Hunter, containing .270 Winchester 150-grain Power-Point loads.
Defending Freedom, which includes .45 Auto 230-grain full metal jacket ammunition.
Committed to Conservation, built around XPERT Waterfowl 12-gauge 3-inch loads rated at 1,550 feet per second with a 1 1/8-ounce No. 2 shot charge.
Building Traditions, which features AA 12-gauge 2 3/4-inch target loads rated at 1,145 feet per second with a 1 1/8-ounce No. 8 shot charge.
