Avian X Ridge Runner Turkey Vests

Avian-X has two new turkey vests for hunters this spring in the form of their Ridge Runner and Ridge Runner X models. Both are designed for mobile hunters during the spring season.

The vests were launched just before spring and initially released in a limited Mossy Oak Greenleaf pattern. Both models are now available in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland camouflage.

The Ridge Runner line uses a backpack-style design with multiple storage compartments for carrying hunting gear such as calls shells and accessories. The vests include EVA-molded pockets for call protection as well as zippered compartments and internal organizers to secure equipment and reduce movement in the field.

Both the Ridge Runner and Ridge Runner X feature padded shoulder straps and a padded back panel along with a magnetic quick-deploy seat that includes a 2-inch foam cushion. Adjustable straps and bungee systems allow users to modify the fit.

The Ridge Runner X adds additional storage and insulation features. It includes four internal zippered pockets fleece-lined handwarmer pockets and a rear game pouch intended for carrying harvested birds or other gear.

Avian-X said the new vests are designed to support hunters who move frequently while covering ground in search of turkeys.
