Henry Repeating Arms recently introduced a new line of Protector Carbines and Provider Rifles. The new lines offer different configurations aimed at defensive and hunting roles. According to the company, both series share a matte blued steel receiver, checkered American walnut pistol grip stocks, ventilated sling swivel studs, adjustable sights and receivers drilled and tapped for optics mounting.

The Provider Rifles are configured for hunting use and feature 20-inch nonthreaded blued steel barrels paired with extended tubular magazines. Capacity is listed at up to six rounds in rifle calibers and up to 10 rounds in pistol calibers. Provider Rifles are offered in the following models and chamberings:

  • The H9 Provider Rifle is available in .30-30 Winchester, .360 Buckhammer, .38-55 Winchester and .35 Remington.
  • The H10 Provider Rifle is chambered in .45-70 Government.
  • The H12 Provider Rifle is offered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special as well as .44 Magnum and .44 Special.

All Provider Rifles carry an MSRP of $1,135.

The Protector Carbines are shorter and lighter, featuring 16.5-inch barrels with threaded muzzles to accommodate suppressors. These models are offered in the following chamberings:

  • The H9 Protector Carbine is available in .30-30 Winchester and .360 Buckhammer.
  • The H10 Protector Carbine is chambered in .45-70 Government.
  • The H12 Protector Carbine is offered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special as well as .44 Magnum and .44 Special.
