Don’t let the cool-down of deer season catch you off guard, the time to apply for Kansas wild turkey season spring lotteries is now. The projected hunt season for Kansas spring gobbler is:
Archery- April 7-15, 2025
Regular- April 16-May 31, 2025
Youth/Disabled- April 1-15, 2025
However, the lottery draw application deadline is February 14, 2025! With the due date fast approaching, here is exactly what you need to know to secure your chance at a slot:
Kansas spring turkey lottery applications can be submitted online or by calling 1-833-587-2164. Non-residents can submit a lottery application for $10, and the permit price (if won) is $75.
The way Kansas draws operates; a winning lottery draw gives you access to a turkey hunting area. At that point, you still need to acquire valid licenses, permits, tags, stamps, and Hunter Education as required.
Draw stats for non-resident applicants are fair, with 2024 having 11,838 applicants and 9,621 winners for hunting regions 1-3. In hunting region 4, there were 542 applicants with 375 winners.
