Atterbury-Muscatatuck is hosting their annual youth spring turkey hunt this season, with applications for both youth hunters and sponsors available now. Atterbury-Muscatatuck is accepting applications from February 15, 2024-March 31, 2024, in preparation for the allotted youth hunting days to occur during the normal spring turkey season which spans from April 29, 2024- May 12, 2024. 

The youth spring hunt is one of many available spring turkey hunts at Atterbury-Muscatatuck, with the others being: 

The Wounded Hero spring turkey hunt which focuses on giving outdoor opportunities to veterans wounded in combat. Applications for the Atterbury-Muscatatuck spring hunt are available now, and you can find more information here.

The Spring Turkey public lottery, which provides the public an opportunity to participate in the regular spring turkey hunt held at Camp Atterbury. Entries are accepted between February 15, 2024- April 1, 2024, and you can find more information by visiting the Atterbury-Muscatatuck website. 

And the regular spring turkey season, which has no application process for hunters who are operating at Camp Atterbury. Regular spring turkey season falls between April 29, 2024-May 12, 2024.
