Range USA marked a major milestone this past weekend with the grand opening of its 50th location—this one in Chester, Virginia. The event ran October 17–19 and drew crowds of shooters, gun enthusiasts and new customers eager to check out the new facility.

The Chester range spans 15,000 square feet and includes 20 public 25-yard lanes, two classrooms that each hold 20 students and a retail showroom stocked with firearms, ammo and gear from leading brands. The store employs around 25 to 30 full- and part-time team members, all trained to help customers of every experience level—from first-time shooters to long-time firearms owners.

“Opening our 50th location is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Tom Willingham, founder and CEO of Range USA. “We’re committed to providing a welcoming, educational environment for everyone, whether you’re a first-time shooter or experienced enthusiast.”

Grand opening festivities included free Range USA hats for the first 150 visitors each day, prize giveaways worth more than $3,500 and discounted memberships. Representatives from top firearm brands such as Kimber, Springfield Armory and Daniel Defense will host special events throughout October and early November.

Founded in 2012, Range USA has grown rapidly on a mission to make safe, responsible firearm ownership more accessible through education and modern, customer-friendly range facilities. Each store offers classes ranging from basic handgun instruction and private lessons to concealed carry certification.
