iSportsman Salutes Our Nation’s Veterans

On this Veterans Day, iSportsman extends our deepest gratitude to all who have worn this nation’s uniform. Serving in the U.S. Armed Forces is among the greatest acts of commitment and sacrifice a person can make, and today we honor those who have answered that call.

We particularly recognize those sporting veterans, who among their service, continue to carry on America’s oldest traditions—hunting and fishing. These pursuits, rooted even deeper than the founding of our nation, embody the freedom and spirit our veterans have fought to preserve. To those who hunt and fish using iSportsman—particularly on military installations where our system helps make outdoor recreation more accessible—we are proud to serve those who have served us, helping them enjoy the lands they’ve defended and supported.

As Veterans Day arrives at the height of the whitetail rut for most areas of the whitetail’s range, we hope every outdoorsman and woman—whether military or civilian—takes a quiet moment while in the woods or fields to reflect on the peace, opportunity and beauty bought by the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.

Finally, we recognize that the current government shutdown continues to impact many of our veterans, active-duty personnel and federal families. With a Senate compromise in place, we remain hopeful the House will soon act to end the shutdown and restore full services for those who have given so much to our country. We want to extend a particular thank you to those base personnel who were able to continue providing outdoor recreation to service men and women, veterans and citizens despite the amazing limitations created by the shutdown.

So, be sure to say thank you to a veteran today for their service, their strength and their unyielding commitment to freedom and to the United States of America.
