The JBLE team will announce the lucky winners one week before the opening of the season, which starts on April 13, 2024. Winning tickets grant hunters two morning hunts from 0400 to 1200hrs; Hunters may bring a guest for calling or observation, but the guest cannot handle a firearm.

Spring gobbler hunting areas are assigned randomly based on iSportsman Portal-generated hunter order. Each hunter can choose two mornings at either the same or different locations.

Hunters can harvest one bearded turkey, concluding their season upon a successful harvest. Spring gobbler hunters must also visit the processing facility to provide required biological samples to the Wildlife Biologist.
